The University recently held a reception to congratulate Lauren Steadman on her Gold winning performance in Tokyo.

With welcome drinks on arrival and a hearty afternoon tea we were treated to a presentation on Lauren’s success followed by a Q&A session and quiz; being seated on the table with the Steadman family we may have had an advantage in some areas!
There was also an opportunity to have a photo with Lauren and I can confirm that a gold medal is a hefty award, worthy of the achievement.
